APPLICATION PROCESS
Verita supports and encourages a broad, inclusive and culturally diverse student population. No one should ever feel excluded or unqualified to join us. If you’re interested in becoming a part of our school, please take the time to complete an application. This will allow the school to have an opportunity to meet and discuss your aspirations and hopes for your children at Verita.
Complete an online application. Please submit your application early to secure an interview appointment; the interview is a required next step to ensure the school is the right fit for the student and the school. It is a crucial part of the admissions process.
While there are no deadlines for applications, classes close once they reach capacity, so be sure to apply at your earliest opportunity once you make your decision.
In the application form, you will have an opportunity to schedule either an in-person, or online interview, at a suitable date and time for your family. While in-person is preferable and will allow a brief tour of the campus and an opportunity to meet the Verita team, we appreciate that some families have still not arrived in Athens and can only participate in a virtual introduction.
The family interview includes the applicant as well as parent(s)/guardian(s) and typically involves a 30-45 minute evaluation of the student (for Year 3 and above). We recommend that you schedule an interview appointment as soon as possible, as our school has limited space.

Families will receive a letter of acceptance upon review of the submitted documentation and confirmation of space in the class. Payment detail as well as other important information will be included in the Acceptance Letter.
What Happens Next
In July, parents can expect to receive, via email, their “Parent Pak”. The Parent Pak contains all the necessary information you will need to begin the upcoming academic year. This will include registration for meal plan, transportation, necessary medical documentation and other required documents to meet the admission requirements of the student.
In early September the school hosts an orientation day where both families and students from all classes are invited to the school for an opportunity to meet the new and returning students. Families also have the opportunity to introduce themselves to other parents in their Year group.
Admissions Policies
Verita School will consider applicants on the basis of their ability to succeed in the school’s programs and to actively contribute to the quality of school life. In all decisions, a student’s social, emotional, and educational needs and potential are at the centre of the admissions assessment process.
Admissions decisions follow clearly established procedures involving staff members in admissions, school leaders, counsellors, and teacher specialists. In the review process the Director’s decision is final regarding all applications for admissions.
The enrollment or re-enrollment of students requiring English Language Learning (ELL) and learning support services is available but may be limited in line with program and staffing policies as defined academic requirements.
Equal Opportunity Admission Policy
Verita School does not discriminate on the basis of race, colour, national or ethnic origin, disability, gender, gender identity, gender expression, religion, or sexual orientation in the administration of its educational policies, financial aid programs, and athletic or other school-administered programs. This policy applies to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities, including applications and admissions, generally accorded or made available to students at the school.
